Hanoi

We arrived in Hanoi and immediately I needed sleep. Our flight was full of cute little kids/babies and I did not sleep. We woke up and had our first Pho for breakfast. It fed our souls. Hot, with fresh noodles and meat. I had a pineapple juice on the side and Jehan had a coconut.

We were Hanoi for 2 days, 3 nights. It is the busiest and loudest city i’ve ever visited. It was a little harsh on the senses. there are no rules on the road, and to cross the street you must do it slowly. Always be aware of your surroundings because there will be cars and scooters everywhere. We visited temples, the Hanoi opera house (from the outside) which was inspired by Palais Garnier in Paris, the Saint Joseph of Hanoi cathedral, Ho Chi Mins museum and where his body is kept.

We also visited the famous train street and had dinner as it passed by the narrow path.
